Yarissa is from WhitePlains, New York. A newly current resident of North Carolina, Charlotte. Before making my big move down to Charlotte I found Ayrsley Town Rehab who was hiring for new candidates and I did not hesitate to apply, as I felt their requirements fell right under my work ethic and I knew this would be a great opportunity to expand my career and goals.
I can say I love this place, the doctors and the amazing patients. The Physical therapists here are always persistent in pushing their patients to strive and do better!

Scott was born and raised in the Buffalo, NY area and is a graduate with his doctorate degree in 2007 from Ithaca College, in the Finger Lakes region of NY.
He has worked in outpatient physical therapy since he began his career following graduation and has worked in NY, SC, and NC for the past 16 years, treating a variety of patient populations and ages, including professional athletes.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and supporting his favorite teams.
Brian is from Rockland County, New York, just 20 miles north of New York City. After sustaining a lower back injury while playing high school baseball, Brian was helped by a physical therapist and fell in love with the profession. In 2015, he graduated with a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
Following graduation, Brian worked at a sports PT clinic for two years before deciding to pursue travel therapy, which he did with his wife, Kristen, also a PT. For three years they worked throughout Connecticut, in Napa and San Jose California, and Greenville SC. During this time, Brian largely split time between outpatient clinics and home health settings.
At Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation, Brian enjoys working for a firm that is “dedicated to giving patients quality time and attention in an uplifting environment.” With extensive experience in treating athletes, he enjoys helping patients of all ages overcome musculoskeletal injuries. Brian is certified through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy in Dry Needling (Cert-DN) and in Blood Flow Restriction Training through Owens Recovery Science.
A resident of Fort Mill, SC, he loves spending time with his wife and daughters (Quinn and Cora), playing golf, and watching baseball.
Brian is from Somerset County, New Jersey. He graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He worked in Central Jersey for the first 7 years of his career before moving to the Charlotte area to be closer to family.
Brian has worked in outpatient private practices which drew him to ATR to continue his career. He is Certified Mckenzie MDT clinician and also has a concussion specialty. He enjoys treating all different diagnoses and patients of all ages and abilities.
A resident of Mooresville, NC he loves spending time with his family, golfing, hunting and fishing. He also is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Nancy brings over 15 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy with a focus on hand and upper extremities in the orthopedic setting. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Nanci graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science and received her post-Bachelor degree in occupational therapy from Cleveland State University in 2003. After graduation, she worked in a hand clinic in Ohio before moving to Charlotte in 2006 where she’s practiced in rehabilitation and orthopedics facilities, as well as the school system. Nanci and her husband and have two lovely children, Jackson and Annabelle, and 2 dogs.
Nate specializes in helping people returning to the activities they love. He utilizes a hands-on approach to care with great communication skills empowering his clients to be informed and in control of their own care.
Nathan is from Taylorsville, NC where he grew up participating in numerous sports including football, basketball, baseball, karate, and mixed martial arts. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Exercise Science, a minor in Biology, and a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He attended graduate school at Winston-Salem State University where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. While at Winston-Salem State University, Nathan participated in advanced manual therapy training and his clinical practice includes treatment of orthopedic, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal injuries.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys exercising, playing golf, hiking, spending time with friends, traveling, and being outdoors. He is passionate about giving back to the community and helping others, which has led him on multiple mission trips. You can find him cheering on the Carolina Panthers, Duke Blue Devils, and Atlanta Braves.
Chris was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA with his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. After school he worked as a travel therapist, working in San Antonio, Chicago, Phoenix, Friday Harbor, WA, Sumter, SC, and Baltimore.
After his traveling days were over, he moved to Charlotte where he quickly realized that the city was in need of physical therapy option that was fun and inviting. A clinic where fantastic treatment was provided to patients in a respectful, timely manner by professionals were respected and not overloaded. With that, ATR was born in 2008.
Since that time, Chris’s contributed to concussion coverage for Charlotte’s ABC affiliate WSOC-TV, as well as authored articles for Bleacher Report, NFLSportchannel, Deadspin and the American Pregnancy Association. He is certified by the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy in Dry Needling (Cert-DN); certified in the Select Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), certified in Functional Movement Kinesio Taping (FMT), certified Medical Professional 2 by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI-MP2) by Original Strength Movement Systems as a certified coach.
Married since 2008, Chris and his wife Angela live in Fort Mill, SC with their daughters, Ella (born 2011) and Abigail (born 2014). In his spare time, he enjoys coaching his daughters, exploring NC and SC, keeping up with friends and cheering on his beloved sports teams from Philadelphia.
